Welcome to my page!
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore. I received my Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from the Price School at the University of Southern California in 2020.
My research lies at the intersection of the economics of aging and work and retirement policy. I study how policy and institutional environments shape productive and purposeful longevity, with a particular emphasis on labor demand (employers), labor supply (workers), and retirement systems in the context of structural and technological changes.
Using applied microecon/econometric methods, my work examines the structural, institutional, and behavioral factors that influence employers’ valuation of older workers and individuals’ work and retirement decisions. I focus on the roles of technological change, skills and training, pension and Social Security systems, and human resource management practices.
At LKYSPP, I teach Policy Challenges (MPP core), Economics of Aging, Labour Economics, Technology and Work, and Ph.D. seminars.
